Ahahaha oh my God this was SO MUCH EASIER to do in Inkscape JESUS.
AND JUST LOOK HOW PRETTY IT IS.
There’s no eraser tool in Inkscape though (not a GOOD one anyway) so I had to do some minor tweaking in SAI but here’s the next one! And the last one I’ll do tonight.
That one time I said I was thinking of a Gallifreyan tattoo for myself? It’d probably be this. I’d really like to add more to it aesthetically but this is the word itself, which I think came out nice. The word, by the way, is “Impossible”.
Impossible has always been a word that’s meant a lot to me, mostly because of its significance in my favorite quote, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” (by Walt Disney of course). Defying the odds and realizing that nothing’s as impossible as you think it is has always been something I’ve had a hard time remembering, and it’s always something I try to keep in mind. When you’re little everybody tells you that you can do anything, and when you get older I think you lose a lot of that invincibility when you find things you’re not good at, and people that don’t like you and stuff like that. It’s hard to remember just how great you are, and how you CAN do whatever the hell you want as long as you want it enough. I feel like I’ve done a few impossible things in my life. I want to keep doing impossible things.
Beyond that the design itself sort of encapsulates things that mean a lot to me; language, and space, and I guess aesthetic beauty too. With just a dash of nerd from the show that, while I haven’t seen every episode of and don’t know everything about, touched me and changed my life just enough. I am a different person because of Doctor Who; the Ninth Doctor will always be one of the most important role models in my life.
So yeah blah blah blah words and feelings LOOK I WROTE GALLIFREYAN STUFF.
I asked my cousin to draw my character Dougie and she asked for a reference sheet.

Trying to keep myself calm and sane by finishing the doodle I was working on last night.
A combination of Tumblrmon and the episode of Yu-Gi-Oh where Bakura traps the souls of the kids’ into their favorite cards compelled me to draw myself as MY favorite Duel Monster card, which would be the Mysterious Puppeteer. It’s not the strongest card in the world, but he’s helped me out of my fair share of tight spots and not to mention I love dolls and puppets.
So yeah that’s what this is all about. Too bad I’m the only person I know who’s into Duel Monsters cuz I’d totally love to see this become a thing like Tumblrmon did.
